How to pick the right pattern scale for every room

Measure first. A wall under 8 ft wide usually looks best with a medium or small repeat; anything over 12 ft can carry a mural.

Bedrooms: keep the pattern behind the headboard. Kitchens and bathrooms: pick a washable vinyl. Entry ways: go bold, people only pass through.
